IRS Economic Stimulus Payments

Congress passed, and President George W. Bush signed, the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008.  In response to this initiative, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) developed tax package 1040A-3, “Information about Economic Stimulus Payments for Social Security, veterans, and Other Beneficiaries”.
