Embassy Speaker Program - Presentation on U.S. Elections 2008

The English Department from the Faculty of Social Studies and Humanities of the University of Mauritius welcomed the Embassy’s Political and Economic Officer, Quentin Barber, for a presentation on U.S. Elections 2008.  The audience included undergraduate students enrolled in the modules:  “20th Century American Literature” / “American Culture and Society” and “Introduction to American Literature.”  The Political and Economic Officer guided the audience through the U.S. electoral process and then opened the floor to questions.
