Education Advising Center

General Advising Sessions

Students who are seeking educational advising assistance for the first time are invited to attend a “General Advising Session.”

These general sessions will take place on two Thursdays a month, on appointment only, at 1:00 p.m.  Students are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.

During these sessions, the Educational Advisor will present a program of general information on opportunities for undergraduate university study in the U.S., including techniques on using the reference books and materials.

Each session can accommodate up to 20 students. Students wishing to make an appointment should call the Educational Advising Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Only those students whose names are on the sign-up sheet will be permitted access to the program.

Individual Appointments

The Educational Advisor will see students on an individual basis from 8:00-11:30 each Thursday.  Appointments should be made by calling the Educational Advising Center on Tuesdays or Thursdays, at least one week in advance.  Please note that only those students who have attended a General Advising Session will be able to make an individual appointment (except for students seeking graduate information).

Please note that students cannot schedule an individual appointment for the same day that they are attending the “General Session.”
